Philippa has produced and appeared in shows at the Edinburgh and Brighton Festivals and has appeared in many events, comedy and cabaret around the UK.
Her stage work includes the critically acclaimed series of solo plays “Glimpse”, the lead role in an adaptation of “Fanny Hill”, and the role of Helena in Sussex Equity’s Shakespeare celebration “A Midsummer Night’s Madness.”
She played Elfrida Haward, wife of the extraordinary Colonel Barker in “The Trials of Colonel Barker” in the 2017 Hove Grown Festival and played Cat in TBC Audio’s new play “Protect And Survive” in the 2017 Brighton Festival Fringe [**** Fringe Guru].
She recently appeared in a new stage production, “The Stern Head Mystery,” with Afterthought Theatre Productions / Studio 1919.
On film she played Ivorwen in Actors at Work Productions’ feature “Born of Hope”, based on a story by JRR Tolkien, Mrs Shelley in “Struck by Lightning”, and a wide range of roles in short films. Her most recent work ‘Teacher’, for the YMCA WiSE Project, is in post production.
As a voice artist, she provides narration, readings, and advertising voices, and in 2016/17 appeared in audio dramas for Tales of a Timelord, Two Bit Productions, B7 Productions and TBC Audio. She recently worked with producer Patrick Adam to create character voices for a children’s TV series, “The Eggleys.”
She also teaches confident public speaking skills for business.
